You seemed a bit pissed when Winborn appointed Frink to chair the Finance Committee, why?

I received an email from the Mayor at 9:00am on Thursday stating that I was no longer the Chair of Finance. It would have been more appropriate for the Mayor to tell me this information sooner than the day of the Committee meetings. Integrity would have also suggested that this information could have been presented to me in a face-to-face conversation rather than a general email to the entire Council. If someone other than myself was going to Chair Finance it should have also been a standing Finance Committee member rather than pulling someone from another Committee this late in the session. My disappointment was the result of the manner by which I was pulled from Chair and not that I am no longer Chair. We currently have a member on the Finance Committee who is not a Chair and he would have done a fine job in this position.

You still type and think like a retard! That proves two things. One, we need to work on our public school system. And two, anyone with little or no education can be a slumlord.
 

Meeker was a huge mistake - you can thank D-1 and the slumlords for him.
 

Some people really feel threatened to use such vicious terms regarding new aldermen. I would like to think that all the alderman might have a chance to prove their worth to the voters. I even have hope that Shawn will change and join a team that wants to move this city ahead.
 

I will always respect the election process. Now that the election is over it is time to look at how we can move Davenport in a positive direction, both in image and in policy. Now matter who sits on the Council I will always hold the same ideals and work to do what I believe is the best for the 2nd Ward and the City of Davenport.
