I have a question Alderman Hammerlink. Why did you vote with Aldermen VanFossen, Ambrose, and Lynn against tabling the rent to own ordiance until there could be a work session?
 

We tabled this item for the purpose of holding a work session. In the past eight months we have rarely seen more than five Alderman in attendance in similar work sessions. I have no problem tabling the item for community input and/or for further legal review. The motion was to table for a work session which may never occur. If it does, only half the Council will show up. I was hoping the Council would be willing to air their concerns that night were everyone could hear.
 

Admit that it was a bad idea, you know it and the public knows it. So why did you vote to pass it anyway?
