Ward Meeting

This Saturday at 9:00am at the Fairmount Brach Library I will be holding a Ward Meeting. We will discuss items which have come before the council in the past month and items which we believe will come before the council in the following month. I welcome all who are interested to attend. If you have any questions or there are specific items of which you would like discussed please post them here or give me a ring before Saturday. Hope to see you there.

While I believe there are many signatures, where the hell are the people in the protest. I have little respect for the fact that two people are being verbal and vocal about this crappy project. Where are the people against this thing. Maybe you should vote for it due to the lack of energy and interest of the people in your area. They need to learn from the Taylor Heights people a few tricks to protesting a tax credit project. Shame.

Maybe the reason you don't here from these people anymore is because after they acually listened to the developer, they found out that this is not such a bad deal after all. I live in the area, and probably would have signed the petition when it was first going around. Noe that I have listened and got some FACTS, I don't believe it is such a bad project. I just wish the city would ask the developer for more in the way of street widening and traffic control.
