Work Session
The work sessions yesterday were extremely interesting. I think everyone has the right to view the same proposals and data we examined in this meeting and I will present both at my ward meeting. I will also offer my own analysis and ideas to solve some of these problems. I must make a correction of my last post. The whole Annie Whittenmeyer project will cost roughly $8 Million and the administration building will make up the majority of this cost at $5 Million. I welcome you to comment on our recent crime report and Annie Whittenmeyer proposal.

The thread for reporting grafitti has flipped over, so here's another location. The garage just was initialed behind 723 west 6th street.
There is a small barn/utility shed on the N/W corner of Wisconsin and Kimberly that has been painted by the bangers.
1628 W. 4th - the garage. Aproximately 1620 W. 5th [no number on commercial vacant warehouse]- whole south side of building. The Lee Broom and Duster Company at 5th and Strudevant - whole building is graffittied.
Aproximately 2035 W. 40th street, there is a large complex that faces both 40th street and Kimberly road, and the dumpster on the south side facing Kimberly road has been gang painted. This large complex sets east of Walgreens and the oil change shop, and west of HyVee's strip mall and west of the Pizza Hut. The dumpster is easily seen off Kimberly Road.
On Brady Street, just north of Donuts and More, south of Locust street, there is an alley chained and barracaded. The two cement baracades are tagged.
On Locust, just east of Duggleby, the bridge on Locust and just east of the bridge, a large section of fencing facing Locust has been hit.
