Discussion Groups
This past Saturday I met with many concerned citizens during the SUMMIT conference at John O’Donnell Stadium. Though many of the ideas presented may benefit the City of Davenport I am concerned about whether or not we will apply the ideas we discuss during these meetings. Many times during such conferences participants often say that our community would be a better place if…
Where these ideas can benefit society is in the application and the follow through. One of the best ways to see this happen is to make sure anyone interested has the opportunity to become involved and participate in the meeting so that positive ideas spread throughout the community.
Getting involved is the key. I welcome you to participate with the SUMMIT program, Davenport Neighborhood Alliance and the Coffee Talk sessions I will begin in December. If you are interested drop me an email and I can forward you to the discussion groups. (shawn@hamerlinck.us)
